'Wonderful Washington' talk given on the 15th March 2022.
"Gary gave a very enjoyable and entertaining talk to our bird club on 'Wonderful Washington', describing the locations and nature reserves he visited in that north-west corner of the USA surrounding Seattle. His talk included great photos of many of the birds he encountered, along with a few pictures of other flying objects, such as butterflies and aircraft (Gary's other great passion!). Few, if any of us, had been to this part of America before, so it was very interesting to hear Gary describe not just the wildlife, but also to see views of the scenery and the varied habitats, including mountains, woodlands, wetlands and coastal areas."
